Leading Worship…

…was what I was doing tonight at church.

Just felt so ‘right’ doing it, like it was the next thing God had for me. It’s been quite an Odyssey since leaving Supervision last summer – doing my own solo stuff and also getting involved playing guitar in church worship team again.

I’ve been loving playing guitar but it definitely seemed like a stepping stone for what else God had planned for me and tonight was the first time I’ve had a chance to actually lead worship… and it just went so well!

Yeah, there were mistakes musical and directional – it’s VERY different from being a semi-self indulgent guitarist to being a person keeping an eye on what’s going on in the congregation and an ear on what God wants to say! – but on the whole it was just awesome, I had no nerves at all and I can’t wait to lead again!

Song list was:

Happy Day
Indescribable
Splendour of our King
You are God in Heaven
Everything
Strength will rise
